Just pay the mafia

I was amazed to discover that a number of U.S. citizens believe that they can pay no income tax and not be persecuted by the taxation authority (the I.R.S.), despite being employees receiving significant wages, because they believe that the law has decreed that only government-connected employees are taxable.

Some people believe that the tax authority or income tax is fraudulent/criminal. They are virtually correct on this point, but it still does not change the fact that they will be severely persecuted if they pay no income tax.

Ever since the USA switched from gold-based money to fully fiat money (beginning in 1933 and finalized in 1971), the reason and need for taxation ended. In the fiat money system, the government can and does create new money whenever it wants to (because new money does not require new gold anymore), thus the funding of essential services certainly does not require any taxation of citizens anymore.

Only naive & gullible people continue to insist that the absence of taxation causes hyperinflation. Most people should be capable of understanding that hyperinflation is caused by extremely irresponsible spending, not by taxation or the absence of it.

For example, during World War 2, Germany ended up printing banknotes with a value of one billion Deutschmarks (or even more) printed on each banknote. It should be obvious that this hyperinflation was caused by the insanity of Germany at the time (the war), not by anything to do with taxation.

Nowadays, since we have fiat money, taxation is indeed an illegitimate mechanism conducted for political reasons (such as class warfare), not for any genuine financial/economic reasons. Nevertheless, employees are being extremely foolhardy when they insist on their rights and pay no income tax.

To escape from persecution by a tax authority, obviously you need to be a large corporation (preferably multinational) or at least a very wealthy individual with sufficient resources to pay multiple accountants and lawyers for a large amount of defensive work.

Legal tax avoidance is standard practice in large corporations, because they can afford to pay multiple full-time staff members that are assigned the task of fending off sadistic bureaucrats and tedious audits.

I support the large corporations that do everything to avoid paying tax, provided they do it in a strictly legal manner with the approval of professional accountants. We should criticize every large corporation that pays a lot of tax, because taxation is unethical and unnecessary. Every large corporation should avoid tax to the maximum extent permitted by law, because it is the right thing to do.

Amazingly, some people are just regular employees receiving average wages, and yet they still believe that they can stop paying income tax and survive the onslaught from the tax authority, despite being unable to afford to pay expert accountants and lawyers for defensive work. Their optimism is incredibly naive or delusional.

Some of them think they have won, because they have paid no income tax for a few years and have not been punished. It seems that they do not understand the concept of “not yet”.

Sadists construct honeypots to lure and trap victims. Social security agencies do this as well. For example, when bureaucrats know that someone is collecting unemployment payments illegally, the bureaucrats sometimes wait a long time before punishing the person in order to give the person more time to get deeper and deeper into trouble, in order to increase the severity of the punishment that will be inflicted on the victim in the end.

People that pay no income tax sometimes argue that they are not breaking any laws. So naive! Sadists don’t care about laws! They will try to punish you regardless of whether you are violating any laws or not. For example, they punish their chosen victims with things like repeated nonsensical audits, huge illegitimate penalty fees, ambiguous notices/demands, harassment, illegitimate police raids of offices and homes, seizures, etc.

Some people think that the justice system will protect them. The justice system is primarily designed for protecting the government and upper-class citizens, not the working-class citizens.

It is usually only large corporations that can afford to fend off sadistic bureaucrats at every turn. Regular people should not risk it! You must pay the mafia unless you have your own little army (of lawyers and accountants) to defeat the mafia. It is also necessary to consider whether the cost of defeating the mafia exceeds the cost of just paying them.

It is absolutely galling, but living in delusion hurts even worse. Much worse! Many thousands of people all over the world have been jailed for insisting on their fair & reasonable rights.

This also occurs in “first world” countries. Some people think that we live in some kind of modern, just, and civilized country with an actual economy and a well-functioning society. 🤣😭😭😭
