Fix the economy with a limit on the maximum wealth per person

The world economy is so severely defective and nonsensical that it is arguably not even an economy (or not deserving of being called an economy). So far, every president has been either grossly incompetent or too embarrassed to speak the truth:

“We have no real economic system, and we have no plan to solve this.”

In order to create a legitimate economy, one of the most important changes that need to be made is to enforce a reasonable limit on the maximum wealth and land that one person is allowed to own.

The number of multi-millionaires, billionaires, and land-barons in the world has been rapidly rising while the working-class people (all regular employees) are becoming poor and landless. For example, in 1998, there were 209 billionaires in the world, whereas in 2025, the number of billionaires rose to over three thousand.

The share of the world's wealth and property owned by billionaires is staggering and increasing even further, meanwhile regular employees receive only the leftover scraps:

To make the situation even worse, a billionaire quickly becomes a double-billionaire and then a triple-billionaire by doing nothing.

“I am of the belief that every billionaire who can't live on $999m is kind of a sociopath. Like, why? You know, over a billion dollars makes money so fast that it's almost impossible to get rid of. And so by just sitting on your hands, you become more of a billionaire until you're a double billionaire. It's a strange way to live when you have objectively more money than a person can spend.”

Another example: England is occupied by land-barons

Land ownership in England is astonishingly abusive. Half of England is owned by 0.04% of its population! To be precise, out of the population of 57 million people, 25 thousand land-barons (0.043%) own half of the land in England.

This is not even close to being a legitimate system. It is far removed from legitimate! It is an extremely abusive arrangement that exploits working-class citizens in order to provide a life of luxury for the lazy, selfish, greedy upper class.

If the land were distributed evenly across England's population, each person would have just over half an acre (over two thousand square meters per person). A piece of land should be a birthright for every citizen, and it should be illegal for any one person to own an excessive amount of land.

The situation in Scotland is similarly abusive. A small number of ultra-wealthy individuals own vast swaths of land in Scotland.

A billionaire's vote = one million votes from regular people

In the democratic system, a billionaire's vote has far more impact than a regular person's vote. Obviously this is extremely unfair and corrupt. A billionaire's vote is counted as having far more weight than your vote, because a billionaire can easily afford to bribe (“donate to”) the politicians in order to convince them to do whatever he wants.

These bribes (“donations”) are very damaging to the political process. They cause rampant corruption, severe bias, and conflicts of interest. Many of these bribes are huge – millions of dollars from wealthy individuals or large corporations.

Bribes should be banned. This should be obvious! It is dishonest to claim that large “donations” or “sponsorships” are not bribes. A sack of money is still a sack of money regardless of what label is written on the sack.

Ancient tribal wiring causes acceptance of extreme inequality & unfairness

In a democracy, the citizens have the power to demand the creation of a new law that limits each person's wealth to a maximum amount (for example, no more than $100 million per person). It is also necessary to create a law that limits each person to owning no more than 5 pieces of land (for example).

Sadly, the majority (over 50%) of citizens seem to reject the creation of such reasonable laws. Therefore, the majority of people are the architects of their own destruction. Why do so many people harm themselves in this manner?

The answer: Deeply embedded in the primitive wiring of a typical human brain, there appears to be an ancient hierarchical/tribal mechanism that convinces normal people that alpha males (or tribal leaders or kings etc.) actually deserve to own obscene amounts of wealth and property.

Similar hierarchical behavior and inequality is also observed in other primates/apes, not only humans. Humans are a species of ape alongside gorillas and chimpanzees, hence the similarity in behavior.

People need to understand that their worship of alpha males is not caused by their own free choice, but rather by neurological structures in their brain. The good news is that people are capable of ignoring primitive urges and impulses when they are aware of the problem.

When a person wants to, he/she can override the primitive urge to worship an alpha male and instead make a conscious decision to exercise their own free will.
